At the end of this year 2008, I'd like to post a recap of contest I won so far. Joining a contest is a great sensation since you'll wonder who is the winner of the contest you have joined in. Besides, you may get some love link from the contest post if you're a contest participant and if you're a contest sponsor, off course you'll get a bunch of backlinks from the contestants since every contest post will also include your web link as the sponsor.
Every contest has different rules and methods of drawing winners. Some contest will require you to make a post about the contest including the sponsor for a certain amount of words, some will make you to subscribe to their RSS feed or newletters and others may ask you to spread the contest by submiting it to the social networking websites. Most of contest will use random drawing either by hand, using their own random program or using random service website. Some contests may require you to make a review of their blog or product and the best review will win the prizes.
Talking about contest prizes, there are many possibilities of prizes can be offered. Starting from text links or ad spots, Entrecard Credit, templates, icons, designs, consultation, blog review, domain and hosting packages until cash, software license, gadgets and electronic devices. You can offer almost anything for a contest.
